Why doesn't the flat plastic hub play sounds?

Why don't you make your own domino sets, it seems easy?

The one thing we have learned from working with our manufacturers, is this is not easy.

The top manufacturers can get different dominoes from the same factory on the same run!

Additionally, the dominoes aren't packed by a machine, they are hand sorted so that explains how you can get double dominoes in an order.

Why aren't the dominoes made in the USA?

It is very expensive to make dominoes in the USA. We have explored making them ourselves but the costs are very prohibitive.  All of our domino accessories are made in the US.
